Industry West.

Ojai, California

For the 2020 Industry West catalog shoot, the Jacksonville-based furniture company transported two semi truck loads of furniture cross-country from their warehouse in Florida to a luxury ranch in Ojai, California.

Working with a dream team crew of creative directors, producers, set and prop stylists, photo assistants and a small army of movers, we swapped out the existing furniture at the ranch and staged several interior and exterior scenes.

The resulting is a mix of furniture, interiors and architectural photography captured during the week-long shoot. These images are currently being used in all forms of print and advertising, Web site refresh and product catalogs.

What I loved most about this shoot was when Industry West initially approached me, they said they didn’t want to do the typical furniture shoot.

So, we staged an outdoor living room scene at sunset with Ojai’s Topatopa mountain range in the distance, shot graphical aerial images with drone, placed high-end luxury chairs against the desert agave plants. Nothing was out of bounds!
