He has worked in more than 80 countries, bringing an editorial eye and a candid, natural sensibility to architecture, interiors, people and place. A contributor to Condé Nast Traveler, The New York Times and National Geographic Traveller, Tanveer has created imagery for international advertising campaigns, hospitality and tourism brands, magazines and newspapers around the world.

Tanveer has shot hospitality projects for Aman, Rosewood, Four Seasons, Auberge and Nihi. His campaigns range from architecture and interiors to lifestyle and food, allowing hotels and resorts to build a cohesive image library through a single production.

He directs brand films and produces motion, drone and short-form video alongside still photography. His film and advertising clients include Google, Marriott Bonvoy and Chase Bank.

Tanveer Badal is a Los Angeles–based photographer and director specializing in luxury hospitality, travel, architecture and lifestyle.

Before specializing in hospitality and travel, Tanveer studied journalism at New York University. In 2014, he spent a year traveling from Tokyo to Madagascar—an experience he considers his real-world master’s degree in photography. He continues to write for publications including The New York Times, Travel + Leisure and Afar.

Born in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Tanveer moved to Los Angeles with his family at age nine. After a decade in New York, he returned to Los Angeles, where he lives with his wife and two daughters. He is available for commissions worldwide.
