Las Vegas for American Way
In August 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, I was commissioned by Ink Global to travel to Las Vegas and photograph a feature cover story for American Way, the in-flight magazine for American Airlines. It was one of the first commissioned shoots for the magazine since the pandemic began. Exercising caution and equipped in PPE, I photographed 4 locals as we traveled to some of their favorite hotels/casinos, restaurants, parks and other areas of Las Vegas to capture a mixture of travel, lifestyle and food imagery.
I have to admit when I first got the call about taking on this assignment in the middle of a pandemic, I had to think about it for a moment, but quickly felt it was a no-brainer to get back out there and (safely) do what I love the most — to connect with the world and capture inspiring travel images.
